guess it's called retro.

I can't believe these things aren't trendy anymore..here's just a few things i wish:

movies were still called motion pictures.

baseball was still the American pastime(seriously. now it's football).

bringing tin lunch boxes to school was still cool.

boys cuffed the bottoms of their jeans.

boys still walk around the car to open your door(chivalry, puuhhlease).

bikes were the popular choice of transportation.

deff more to come..just gotta to think of them.

the golden rule.

“treat other how you want to be treated” everyone has been taught this famous saying...but how can this pertain to every human being? did you know that phrase came from the Bible? I sure didn’t. you see it all makes sense. God created all men...God created this rule.. see the connection? I was skimming through my Bible the other day and I came across that verse. can’t remember which chapter exactly but Corinthians sounds about right. this is such an international phrase that people of all religions try to live up to. makes me wonder what other famous saying originated from God’s words. not just the ones Christians use…but all religions. I have recently realized that you do have to treat other how you want to be treated. I’m involved in lots of musical with a company that accepts ages 5-15. this can get frustrating sometimes because the little kids don’t know what to do sometimes and you just want to scream at them. and one boy is the most annoying to me and I tell him to shut up at least on every rehearsal. also during costume changes and stressful moments in the show I’m at my worst. reflecting on my actions in the past few days i have realized that if I was treated how I treat others I’d probably be such a damaged person. whomever is reading this(which I don’t think is too many people..maybe one random person in Alaska for I all know) please pray for my patience and understanding..

talk about truth.

Mamihlapinatapai

from the Yaghan language of Tierra del Fuego, it is considered the world’s most succinct word and the hardest to translate. - it means: a look shared by two people, each wishing that the other will initiate something that both desire but that neither one wants to start.
